Historical

In 1995 at a splendour period for the Breton food industry exports to Russia, one of the favourit sport of the industrialists of this sector was truck race. As trucks were over-reserved for goods in quantity, costs of transportation were, accordingly, raised. It was necessary to make a balance between the transit export and import. It was, also, important to find a regular freight from Lithuania in order to be able to load daily trucks notably going to the Brittany where they were warantly reloaded, this time, mainly to be directed to Moscow.

The logistic: a price optimisation

The Peat: a raw material in great demand, liable to contracts representing important ranges. Its low price force to get a very important control on the transportation cost.
-That is why Bretalita developed a tarification system centered on maximum-optimised prices.
-Tariffs drawn up for a year: no price change, despite the possible cases of over-ranging or transit autorisations failure (a problem related to French administration and, particularly, taking into consideration the French importers)
-Tariffs drawn up by zones (4 zones in France, 3 zones in Italy, 4 zones in Spain)
-Tariffs drawn up in proportion to the number of loaded bags
